A unique guided tour of the Pointe-du-Moulin and Silo #5

Following the highly successful guided tours of 2010 and 2011 of the unique Pointe-du-Moulin site and Silo No 5, Heritage Montreal is proud to renew its partnership with the Canada Lands Company (CLC) in order to present a 3rd edition of these Special Edition ArchitecTours. Register today in order to secure a reservation for a not-to-be-missed opportunity to discover one of Montreal’s most iconic industrial heritage landmarks.

Silo no5

Inaccessible and usually closed to the public, this site will be open for this 3rd edition of our exclusive guided walking tours on the following Saturdays and Sundays. On each of these dates, the 10 AM, 11 AM and 1:30 PM visits will be in French and the 2:30 PM visits will be in English:

Saturday, May 19th, Sunday May 20th  (on May 20th, 11am and 1:30pm visits are sold out)

Visits in French will also be offered in French on the following Wednesday evenings (departure ar 5:30 pm):

Participants on the tour will explore one of the most imposing elements of Montreal’s industrial heritage, and will be guided by experienced volunteers who are passionate and knowledgeable about our city and its secrets.  The tours will be held mainly outdoors but will also include access into the main floor of Grain Elevator B, where grains were at one time unloaded off trains and stored.

To highlight Heritage Montreal’s exceptional work towards enhancing awareness of urban heritage, the CLC is collaborating with Heritage Montreal for this special ArchitecTour. For more information on CLC and on the Pointe-du-Moulin property, visit  www.clc.ca and www.port-montreal.com.

Rain or shine
Tours are 90 minutes long

For safety reasons, participants must wear closed footwear; safety helmets will be distributed to participants on site.
Children must be 12 years or older
Access to the ground floor of one of the complex’s buildings is included.
