Heritage Montreal and Urban Sketchers invite you to tap into the artist in you during an activity that combines art and heritage. Discover the fascinating history and architecture of Bonsecours market and the surrounding area in the company of a volunteer guide from Heritage Montreal. Let yourself be inspired by the many sites and places you’ll discover and capture a scene playing itself out right before your eyes. Whether you are an amateur, professional or up-and-coming artist, the lively streets of Old Montreal and the architectural beauty of its buildings will stir your creativity! An urban sketcher from the Urban Sketchers collective will be on site help you with your sketch!

Practical Information 

Meeting point: In front of the main entrance of Bonsecours market, 350 Saint-Paul Street East (close to Champ-de-Mars metro).

For the sketching activity, bring your pencils, pad and paper. Sketching will be done on site. Some basic materials will be provided in limited quantities. In case of rain, the tour will proceed as planned, but the sketching activity will take place indoors.
