Become a volunteer

Heritage Montreal pursues its mission to protect and promote Montreal’s heritage thanks to the efforts of over one hundred volunteers. Join our team of dynamic volunteers and share your passion for Montreal!

Heritage Montreal offers an orientation session, project-based training, a volunteer guide, networking activities, access to a resource person, personalized guidance and several opportunities to learn and discover.

All volunteers are selected following a group interview. Volunteers selected to become members of the team must take part in an orientation session before beginning their volunteer work.

Volunteers play a vital role in carrying out and presenting Heritage Montreal’s public programs. They make it possible for us to offer so many opportunities to raise awareness about Montreal’s heritage.

Steps to become a volunteer:

  • Fill out the form and return by email.
  • Attend a group interview
  • Take part in an orientation or training session, as applicable

Four volunteer categories:
