From August 15 to October 25, 2026, come explore the Olympic Park and its surroundings, Jeanne-Mance Park to the McGill campus, the Complexe Claude-Robillard and its neighbourhood, the heart of the Town of Mount Royal, and the parks of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.

  • Refunds (excluding service charges) possible up to 48 h prior to tour start time.
  • Please let us know as soon as possible if you have to cancel.
  • For special rates (senior, 35 years old or younger, or member), you may be asked to present proof on the day of the tour.
  • You will receive a confirmation of your registration by email, along with a reminder a few days before the tour.

Tour 1 - Around the Olympic Park: at the heart of Montreal's sports dreams

From the Olympic Stadium to Maisonneuve Park, explore one of the most spectacular and fascinating urban landscapes of Montreal. Between iconic architecture, vast green spaces and major sporting facilities, this unique area embodies Montreal's grand ambitions.


Tour 2 - At the foot of Mount Royal: from Jeanne-Mance Park to McGill's sports campus

For over 150 years, Mount Royal Park has been a playground for a wide variety of sports enthusiasts. Skiing, cycling, snowshoeing, marathon running, golf, and many other sports have shaped a culture of recreation deeply rooted in the history of the city. From Jeanne-Mance Park to the long recreational tradition on McGill campus and its trailblazing sports installations, join us in discovering the richness of this area. Please note that due to the topography of the area, this tour includes several uphill sections with stairs.


Tour 3 - At the dawn of a new sporting age in the Town of Mount Royal

Garden City born out of bold railway ambitions, the Town of Mount Royal was built based on the ideal that sports, community recreation and quality of life go together. Today, the arrival of the REM and the development of significant sports facilities usher in a new chapter for this model city, where physical activity remains part of its DNA.


Tour 4 - Athletic Ahuntsic: from the Complexe Claude-Robillard to the Stade de soccer de Montréal

Inaugurated for the 1976 Olympic Games, the Complexe Claude-Robillard stands out as a world-class sports centre available to all. It is located in a predominantly residential neighbourhood, notably shaped by the development of housing cooperatives in the 1960s. On this tour, you’ll also see how design and innovation are being put to work for sports with the recent completion of the Stade de soccer de Montréal.


Tour 5 - Active Notre-Dame-de-Grâce: parks, schools, and community

This tour begins in the well-established residential neighbourhood around Monkland Avenue. From the Hampton YMCA through Confederation and Benny Parks, we will discover how Notre-Dame-de-Grâce has fostered enduring sport and community infrastructure in its schools and its parks.
