Thank you, thank you, what a wonderful evening!

For Montreal, you showed up in full force at our major fundraising gala presented by La Caisse. Thank you for your commitment to our city and its heritage!

Incorporated on October 15, 1975, Héritage Montréal held its first board meeting on October 22, 1975, under the presidency of Phyllis Lambert. Fifty years later, the citizen movement dedicated to the enhancement of heritage remains as vibrant as ever.

Among the highlights of the evening was the tribute paid to Phyllis Lambert by Dinu Bumbaru, along with the presentation of a symbolic gift in sculpted Montreal grey stone, an original work created by Alexandre Maquet of Créa-Pierre and Mathieu Collette of Les Forges de Montreal. Thank you for this gesture, which reflects our attachment to local craftspeople and their expertise.

We also salute the past and present chairs who have guided the organization and, in particular, Carole Deniger for her 25 years of service on the board, including seven as president. Thank you, Carole, for your passion and your love for Montreal.

Once again, thank you to our community, our partners, and our donors. The next chapter will be written with you. For Montreal, for you.
